  • Publication number: 20240099428
Abstract: A lacing system configured to selectively adjust the size of an opening on an object and allow for the incremental release of the lace within the lacing system. The lacing system can have a reel comprising a housing, a spool supported by the housing, and a knob supported by the housing. The reel can be configured so that cable is gathered in the channel formed in the spool when the spool is rotated in a first direction relative to the housing, and so that cable can be incrementally released from the spool when the spool is rotated in a second direction relative to the housing. In some embodiments, the reel can include a rotation limiter which can be configured to prevent over-tightening of the lacing system and/or to prevent rotation past the substantially fully loosened state.

  • Publication number: 20230193710
Abstract: A wellbore system includes an upper body, a lower body, removably coupled to the upper body, and a passage extending through both the upper body and the lower body, the passage being aligned and extending through an interface between the upper body and the lower body. The wellbore system also includes a latch piston, confined to the lower body, the latch piston being moveable responsive to an applied pressure via the passage. The wellbore system further includes a latch piston retaining ring, confined to the lower body.

  • Publication number: 20220351551
Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel wireless toll payment transponder device that can be embedded or retrofitted to a vehicle. More specifically, the toll payment device is used for paying toll tax at toll booths without blocking the field of vision of the driver of the vehicle. The device provides efficient movement of the vehicles on highways and through toll booths, without the fear of an accident. The device includes a transponder for wireless communication and storage of transponder information. The transponder further includes a location detector for detecting the location of the vehicle to which the device is mounted. The transponder device enables payment of toll taxes while providing location information simultaneously.

  • Patent number: 10851607
Abstract: A technique facilitates deployment and operation of a casing hanger. A ratchet mechanism may be positioned between the casing hanger and a running tool. The ratchet mechanism may comprise a center body section located between a first cam, e.g. a lower cam, and a second cam, e.g. an upper cam. The first cam is constructed for releasable engagement with the casing hanger and the second cam is constructed for engagement with the running tool. The first cam has a cam profile which causes rotation of the casing hanger when the running tool is rotated in a first direction and which causes the ratchet mechanism to release from the casing hanger when the running tool is rotated in a second direction. Additionally, the second cam also may have a cam profile configured to force the ratchet mechanism toward the casing hanger when the running tool is rotated in the first direction.

  • Publication number: 20060273183
Abstract: A method for dehumidifying air in an indoor space using outside air is comprised of the steps of: sensing whether there is a demand for dehumidification in the space; in response to a demand for dehumidification, determining whether outdoor air is suitable for dehumidification of the space; if the outdoor air is determined to be suitable, admitting outdoor air into the air supplied to the space; and selectively temperature conditioning the supply air in accordance with a predetermined temperature condition therefor. The method is disabled in response to a demand for heating or sensible cooling in the space. Further, the ratio of outdoor air to return air in the supply air is kept relatively constant, irrespective of whether the predetermined temperature condition is satisfied.

  • Publication number: 20060179583
Abstract: The present invention provides for a method of dosing treating agents into a washing machine in particular sequences so that only one treating agent is dosed at one time. This avoids interaction of incompatible treating agents as well as provide for better cleaning as now one treating agent can perform without interference from other treating agents typically found in washing machines.

  • Patent number: 5364550
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a liquid laundry detergent comprising an aqueous dispersion of particles of at least one halogen donating compound wherein said halohydantoin particles have a surface modifier adsorbed on the surface thereof in an amount sufficient to achieve a particle size of less than about 400 nanometers (nm). The compositions of the present invention contain other conventional ingredients in laundry detergent compositions such as enzymes, surfactants, builders and other similar ingredients.
