  • Patent number: 12229599
Abstract: Techniques for algorithmically optimized determination of resource assignments in machine request analyses are described, including receiving a request having resource request data and criteria data, evaluating the request to identify a resource type and a suitability matrix, which are analyzed to generate a data model, to select an algorithm to apply to the data model, to evaluate an output from the algorithm being applied to the data model to generate a resultant dataset, including evaluating another resultant dataset generated by applying another algorithm to another data model generated using the request data, the criteria data, the resource type, and the suitability matrix, to generate an optimization cost for each solution indicating the resource to be assigned to the request, and to transmit a resultant dataset identifying the one or more resources based on the optimization cost.

  • Patent number: 10385894
Abstract: A split ring includes a split ring body, the body having a first end and a second end; a first fastener hole defined by the first end of the split ring; a second fastener hole defined by the second end of the split ring; a gap defined by the first and second ends approaching each other wherein the first fastener hole and the second fastener hole are aligned to permit a fastener to extend through the first fastener hole, across the gap and through the second fastener hole; and a protrusion extending beyond the body of the split ring, the protrusion being located on the body opposite the gap. A method of forming a split ring includes: forming a split ring body; fixing onto the body a projection that projects above the body; and installing a closing mechanism into the split ring in order to allow the split ring to tighten over an object.

  • Patent number: 10365403
Abstract: A modified direct search Neighborhood Algorithm (NA), similar to genetic or evolutionary algorithms, is used for automatic calibration of Stratigraphic Forward Models (SFM) to data constraints. The modified NA comprises explicit escape clauses from local minima and admissible solutions, thereby preventing a natural tendency of conventional NAs to converge and oversample a single minimum. The density of models in parameter space is used to define local minima. Admissible solutions are defined by considering error thresholds taking into account that SFM may be imperfect and that calibration constraints may be uncertain. The modified NA algorithm obtains a plurality of geological scenarios that agree with the data, and which can be used for further analysis and prediction.

Particular phenoxathiin-based MAO-A inhibitors include those of the following formula: wherein n is 0, 1 or 2; R1 is a branched or straight chain C1-5 alkyl or C3-6 cycloalkyl optionally substituted with hydroxyl, or one or more halogens; and X1, X2, X3, X4, and X5 are either all hydrogens or one or two of X1, X2, X3, X4, and X5 are halogen and the remainder are hydrogens, with the proviso that when n is 0 or 1 and each X is hydrogen, R1 is not methyl. A wide variety or sustained release mechanisms can be utilized so as to provide gradual release of the active ingredient after ingestion as a pharmaceutical presentation, such as a tablet or capsule. Presentations include sustained release tablets, sustained release capsules, capsules containing sustained release beads.

Particular phenoxathiin-based MAO-A inhibitors include those of the following formula: (I) wherein n is 0, 1 or 2; R1 is a branched or straight chain C1-5 alkyl or C3-6 cycloalkyl optionally substituted with hydroxyl, or one or more halogens; and X1, X2, X3, X4, and X5 are either all hydrogens or one or two of X1, X2, X3, X4, and X5 are halogen and the remainder are hydrogens, with the proviso that when n is 0 or 1 and each X is hydrogen, R1 is not methyl. A wide variety of enteric mechanisms may be utilized so as to provide release of the active ingredient essentially out of the environment of the stomach after ingestion as a pharmaceutical presentation, such as a tablet or capsule. Presentations include enteric coated tablets, enteric coated capsules, capsules containing enteric coated beads.

  • Patent number: 6200624
Abstract: This invention is directed to the use of triglycerides containing fatty ester moieties that include arachidonic acid (AA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) in enteral nutritionals or nutritional supplements. These triglycerides are derived from lipid mixtures which have high levels of sterols and phosphorous. A preferred embodiment of the invention comprises an infant or enteral nutritional, or nutritional supplement, that comprises a lipid source derived from egg yolk. The lipid source derived from egg yolk is prepared by transesterification or hydrolysis, subjecting the mixture to distillation, and esterification with glycerin to result in a triglyceride containing the desired fatty acids of AA and DHA and little or no sterols and phosphorus.
