In one embodiment, an exemplary system generates a response using a language analysis module configured to parse a query into elements. This system can also include a rules engine configured to compare a condition of a rule against the elements, where the rule is configured to perform an action to retrieve information. Further, a response generator coupled to said rules engine receives the rule and retrieves the information for presentation to a querier in a portion of a display that adjusts proportionately to the degree of importance of said information.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention perform bulk updates of a search index for an information repository. In embodiments, a batched set of update requests is run and a set of documents to be updated based on the set of requests is identified. In embodiments, a bulk update method to use is selected based on an estimate of the cost of performing the bulk update. In embodiments, a bulk update method based on updating only the indexes of the documents to be updated may be used instead of a bulk update method that involves re-indexing the full set of documents in the repository.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention perform bulk updates of a search index with a representation that includes upward and downward inheritance. In various embodiments of the invention, a batched set of update requests is applied to a search index to modify existing indexed objects. A representation of the inheritance consequences of the updates is created, and that representation is used to construct a second batched set of update requests. The second batched set of update requests is applied to propagate the updates to the objects that have inheritance relationships to the modified existing indexed objects.

At least one lead is deposited on the base, the at least one lead including a trace of electrically conductive material having a first end and a second end. A dielectric layer is deposited on a portion of the at least one lead between the first end and the second end. A sealing surface is deposited on a portion of the dielectric layer, the sealing surface including a contiguous shape of metal separating an enclosed area of the base located inside the contiguous shape from an open area of the base located outside the contiguous shape. The first end of the at least one lead is located in the enclosed area and the second end of the at least one lead is located in the open area. Moreover, the dielectric layer electrically insulates the at least one lead from the sealing surface.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for incrementally adding items received from an input stream to a cluster hierarchy. An item, such as a document, may be added to a cluster hierarchy by analyzing both the item and its relationship to the existing cluster hierarchy. In response to this analysis, a cluster hierarchy may be adjusted to provide an improved organization of its data, including the newly added item.
