Abstract: A gun stock, for attaching to a rifle having a receiver with a grip mounting plate and a barrel extender, the stock having a main part, a forward grip, a rear grip having a rear grip front, and a butt extending behind both the rear grip and main part. The forward grip has a grip mount for attaching to the grip mounting plate and a thumb opening. The rear grip has a pair of indentures that extend from near the butt forwardly toward the rear grip front. The main part has a front surface, a barrel extender tube having a barrel extender opening on the front surface and extending rearwardly to the butt. The barrel extender is inserted into the barrel extender opening and to the butt where it is secured to the gun stock with a barrel extender bolt.

Abstract: The disclosed subject matter may provide a system and methods for commissioning a device or appliance into a network. A processor may detect the insertion of a removable device into a data receptacle of a first device. The first device may be an appliance or a network controller. Information may be retrieved from or delivered to the removable device. The information may be information specific to the appliance, such as model number, or may be information related to the network controller. For example, information delivered from the network controller to the removable device may include a network address assignment and network protocol to be used by an appliance when the appliance communicates with the network. The removable device may be removed from the first device and inserted into a data receptacle of a second device.

Abstract: A plant or algae control composition is disclosed, The composition contains a herbicide and/or algaecide adsorbed onto a solid carrier. The composition may comprise a free-flowing granular product. The solid carrier contains a mixture of different clay materials. Two different clay materials are combined that synergistically mix together to allow for greater amounts of the herbicide or algaecide to be adsorbed onto the particles. The composition is particularly well suited for treating aquatic environments.

Abstract: Disclosed is a mobile spool support system for transporting spools of a flexible elongate load such as cable or tubing on a transport vehicle. In some forms the system includes one or more lift arms for raising and lowering a spool rod. These arms are pivotally attached to a lift base that is utilized for supporting loads placed on the support system. A spool rod is utilized for supporting a spool containing the flexible elongate load on the spool and is seated on the lift arms. A mount interface is utilized for securing the system to the front or rear end of a transport vehicle. Deployable jacks are available in some forms to support the system against the ground.

In one implementation, an enhanced service environment includes a working set service that receives event signals initiated by working set agents in various application services. The working set agents communicate the event signals to nominate events occurring in the application services for inclusion in a working set of information specific to a user. The nominations may be based at least in part on a working set model specific to the user. In response to receiving the event signals, the working set service determines which of the events qualify for inclusion in the working set of information based at least in part on the working set model. For each event that qualifies for inclusion, the working set is modified to include at least the event.

Abstract: The antenna focusing ring disclosed herein is configured for use with any given subscriber module (antenna). The antenna focusing ring may also be used to focus and concentrate the electromagnetic signal generated by the subscriber module onto a parabolic reflector antenna used in the transmission of data over wireless transmission systems. The antenna focusing ring described herein is used to increase signal gain in the wireless data transmission system by focusing and thereby correcting the poor illumination of an internal patch antenna within the given subscriber module.

Responsive to the detection, an authentication sequence may occur to verify an identity and/or capabilities of the accessory device. Upon successful authentication of the accessory device, the host device may authorize the accessory device for power exchange interactions with the host device. The host device may then draw supplemental power from a power source associated with the authorized accessory device, such as a battery or power adapter. The host device may also enable the accessory device to obtain and use power supplied by the host device in some scenarios. Power exchange between a host device and an authorized accessory may be managed in accordance with capabilities of the accessory device that are identified during authentication.
