Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein include systems and methods for systematic crowdsourcing of geolocation data. Transaction data that includes an identification of a point of sale device and an identification of a payment vehicle used in the transaction can be received. A confidence in a location of the point-of-sale device can be calculated. When the confidence of the location of the point-of-sale device is lower than a threshold confidence, a location of a device associated with an owner of the payment vehicle can be determined. An updated confidence in the location of the point-of-sale device can be generated based at least in part on the location of the device.

If it was in the secured area, then an authentication protocol is triggered prior to allowing the user to return to the previous screen in the secured area of the application on the mobile computing device. In another embodiment, geolocation dependent information is provided to a user via an application on a mobile computing device.

The method may include, at a customer mobile wireless device, initiating a live register receipt application and authentication process with a live register receipt provider, receiving and forwarding unique vendor register identification information and forwarding that information to the live register receipt provider. In response the customer mobile device receives and displays line item data from the identified vendor register via the provider in real-time. The system may include a customer mobile device configured to implement the live register receipt functionality described and a live register receipt provider configured to communicate live register data from vendor registers and mobile devices.

Abstract: A client application may use a request/response protocol to request that a server perform a transaction. The client application may use an adapter to issue a request and to wait for a reply. The adapter may wait for the reply for a specific amount of time. If a reply is received after the time expires, then the reply may be received by a delayed reply handler employed by the client application. If the delayed reply handler receives a reply, it may identify the request to which the reply relates, and may then cause action to be taken. The particular action to be taken may depend on the nature of the transaction to be performed, and/or whether the transaction succeeded or failed.

Abstract: Method and system are disclosed for redelivering failed messages in asynchronous communication systems. The methods and systems automatically delay redelivery of such failed messages in order to allow required system resources to become available. In one implementation, the methods and systems provide two levels of redelivery: a micro level in which redelivery is attempted right away for a certain number of times, and a macro level in which a predefined, user-selectable delay is imposed before any additional micro level redeliveries are attempted. After a certain number of unsuccessful macro level redeliveries, the message is backed out to a backout queue for manual intervention by a system operator. Such an arrangement reduces or eliminates the burden on the system operator to manually resolve failed message deliveries.
