Publication number: 20240178810Abstract: An audio interface system is disclosed that receives an audio signal from an audio line and outputs a normalised audio signal. An audio interface device of the audio interface system comprises a signal conditioning module, a gain module to apply a gain to the audio signal and an attenuation module to apply an attenuation to the audio signal to output the normalised audio signal. The audio interface device further comprises an interface configured to communicate the normalised signal to an external device. In response to determining that an amplitude of the audio signal does not meet a minimum amplitude requirement or exceed a maximum amplitude requirement, the signal conditioning module is to adjust the amplitude of the audio signal by applying the gain and/or attenuation to meet the requirement.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 24, 2022Publication date: May 30, 2024Inventor: Oliver James Clay

Patent number: 10967777Abstract: A lift assist device for a slide-out room includes a base and a floor support having a fixed portion, a deflecting portion, and a biasing member disposed between the base and the deflecting portion. When the slide out room is in an extended position, the weight of the room deflects the deflecting portion, thereby compressing the biasing member. As the slide-out room is being retracted from the extended position, the biasing member decompresses, thereby facilitating lifting of the slide-out room.Type: GrantFiled: July 31, 2019Date of Patent: April 6, 2021Assignee: LIPPERT COMPONENTS, INC.Inventors: Mark Howie, Patrick Quigley, Jeremiah Bradley, James Clay

Patent number: 9821774Abstract: An improved device and method of lubrication for a tongue jack, 5th wheel jack, or other jack or other threaded positioning device. Ports are provided in the inner and outer tubes of the jack. The aligned ports provide access to a lubrication cavity in the jacknut. The lubrication cavity may include a grease fitting such as a zerk fitting. When the ports are in alignment, a grease gun can be inserted easily to the zerk fitting to apply grease to the interior structure of the nut as well as to the threads of the jackscrew. The lubricant may be introduced directly at a region of contact between a screw and the load bearing element. Applicant's test results show that this improved lubrication can increase the life cycle of the jack by more than 100%.Type: GrantFiled: March 3, 2014Date of Patent: November 21, 2017Inventors: Craig Alan Searer, Randall James Clay, David W. Busch
