  • Publication number: 20240092911
Abstract: The invention provides a method of treating a tumor in a human patient comprising (i) identifying a patient as having a LAG-3 positive tumor and (ii) administering to the patient a PD-1 pathway inhibitor, a combination of a PD1 pathway inhibitor and an immune checkpoint inhibitor, a combination of a LAG-3 inhibitor and a PD-1 pathway inhibitor, or an anti-CTLA4 antibody. In some embodiments, the method further comprises identifying the patient as having a LAG-3 positive PD-L1 positive tumor. In some embodiments, the LAG-3 inhibitor is an anti-LAG-3 antibody and the PD-1 pathway inhibitor is an anti-PD-1 antibody. The methods of the invention can improve response rates to treatment with a PD-1 pathway inhibitor, a combination of a PD1 pathway inhibitor and an immune checkpoint inhibitor, or a combination of a LAG-3 inhibitor and a PD-1 pathway inhibitor.

  • Patent number: 10678426
Abstract: A method and a user interface for inputting scale data detects an initial user interaction from a user input device; controls a display device to display an image of a path for user interaction to follow to input a scale selection response from a scale between a first scale end indicative of a positive response and a second scale end indicative of a negative response; controls the display device in response to the initial user interaction to display an indication on a start point of the path intermediate a first end of the path representing the first scale end and a second end of the path representing the second scale end, the path being asymmetric about the start point; detects a user traversal interaction from the user input device along the path in a positive or negative response direction to terminate at a selection point on the path; and determines a scale selection response and input scale data based on the selection point on the path.

  • Publication number: 20170054983
Abstract: A method and apparatus for generating an image to encode digital data to be computer readable is disclosed. The method and apparatus defines a spatial reference object configuration within an encoding region; defines a shape and size of the encoding region by defining a boundary around the spatial reference object configuration; determines relative spatial properties for a plurality of coding objects to be displayed in the image based on the digital data and the spatial reference object configuration; and generates an image of the coding objects spatially arranged in the encoding region around the spatial reference object configuration in accordance with the determined spatial properties, wherein the spatial reference object configuration is distinctive compared to the coding objects. Also a method and apparatus for decoding digital data in an image is disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20150262444
Abstract: A computer apparatus and method for determining score data for a location, comprising receiving a vote input by a user on a visit to a location from a user's mobile device, the vote input representing a vote for the location and including an identifier for the user's mobile device or the user and information identifying the location; retrieving from storage score data for the user and score data for the location, the score data for the user being a derivative of previous vote inputs for locations and the score data for the location being a derivative of previous vote inputs by users for the location; and determining score data for the visit dependent upon the score data for the user and the score data for the location; wherein the score data for the location is modified dependent upon the determined score data for the visit.
