The communication system may include a satellite communication system or other relay communication system that is used to relay voice communication packets between the terminal device and the uncrewed aircraft. A computing system on board the uncrewed aircraft is configured to monitor an RF-communication channel between the uncrewed aircraft and an air traffic control (ATC) facility. In accordance with a state of the RF-communication channel and input provided at the remote terminal device, the computing system may transmit, buffer, delay, store, suppress transmission of, or delete voice communication messages generated by the remote pilot or operator at the terminal device.

In one implementation, the system and method include generating an identifying code that includes location information, hardware specific information, and equipment history of the equipment to be managed. The ID code is applied to the equipment or a portion thereof. A code scanner or reader is positioned within scanning range of the ID code when the equipment is positioned in the server rack. The code reader scans for ID codes and communicates the information associated with the codes to a communication device, which communicates the codes to a user or network device in a network environment. The information may then be analyzed, sorted, and displayed in a graphical user interface such that a user may evaluate, locate, and track the equipment.

Abstract: Systems and methods for management of a cache are disclosed. In general, embodiments described herein store access counts in file system metadata associated with files in the cache. By encoding access counts in the file system metadata, file I/O operations are reduced. Preferably, the reference count is encoded in an access count timestamp in the file system metadata. The access counts can be decoded based on the difference between the access count time stamp and a base time value, with larger differences reflecting a larger access count. The cache can be aged by advancing the base time value, thereby causing the access count for a file to drop. The base time value can also be stored in file system metadata, thereby reducing file I/O operations when performing aging.
