Abstract: A cricket playing game has a board (2) having an array of squares defining a path of travel for a playing piece. Each playing piece represents a batsman. A throw of the die is equivalent to a ball being bowled and determines how far along the path the playing piece (6) moves. The score is determined by adding up the numbers on the squares on which the playing piece lands. Events that occur in the game of cricket are marked on some of the squares. A deck of question cards is also provided. When a player lands on an event square, he has asked a question which determines whether his batsmen is out or not. The game represents a realistic emulation of the rules and scoring of cricket.

Abstract: A combined computer media player and computer controller is disclosed. The apparatus includes a main housing with media controls thereon and a processor therein. An input port for connecting a mass storage device to the processor so the processor has access to media files thereon. An optical disc reader located in the housing and connected to the processor so the processor has access to media files thereon. The media files are playable, controllable, mixable and modifiable by the media controls. The apparatus further includes media output ports on the main housing that are connected to the processor to output a media files for listening or viewing. An input port for connecting the apparatus to a computer is included so the apparatus can control software running thereon.

Abstract: An interactive data analysis system is disclosed that utilizes interactive graphic techniques to analyze ocean properties of a region of interest. The interactive system allows for a user to edit observed ocean data based on his/her a priori knowledge and insight so as to derive accurate ocean profile data.
