  • Patent number: 11514146
Abstract: A method including receiving, in a security device, a user object storing stored biometric data describing a biometric parameter of the user. Sensed biometric data is generating by sensing directly, using a sensor, the biometric parameter of the user. The stored biometric data is compared to the sensed biometric data. A confidence factor is determined using a first degree of trust, assigned to the object, combined with a second degree of match between the stored biometric data and the sensed biometric data. A user input is received indicating a desired activity. A risk factor is determined based on a combination of the confidence factor and the user input. The risk factor is compared to a selected pre-determined threshold. The user is granted a selected level of access to the security device from among different levels of access to the security device when the risk factor satisfies the selected pre-determined threshold.

  • Publication number: 20170083857
Abstract: A system for locating and tracking of packages is disclosed. The system for tracking packages comprises an attached RFID/GPS label housing a GPS barcode which allows businesses to track packages utilizing longitude and latitude technology. In use, the barcode/shipping label is activated by a wafer like, flexible, printable battery label by entering the GPS barcode into a software program. The RFID is imbedded on the back of the label such that when the GPS barcode is activated the package can be tracked. Additionally, a smart app is provided for tracking and identifying the location of the package, providing an exact address of the package's location and to monitor the temperature of their goods and an alert will be sent to the shipper and consignee once the temperature breaches the desired set temperature. Customers with this new concept can now see their shipments move in real-time based on its final destination.

  • Patent number: 9177272
Abstract: A system and method of obtaining diagnostic data from a device at a remote location in one embodiment includes establishing a communications link between a service location and a customer location remote from the service location, transmitting first diagnostic data from a device at the customer location over the communications link, receiving the first diagnostic data at the service location, generating an action request at the service location in response to the received first diagnostic data, transmitting the action request to the customer location, receiving the action request at the customer location, authorizing the received action request, obtaining second diagnostic data associated with the action request from the device, and transmitting the second diagnostic data to the service location.

  • Patent number: 4252050
Abstract: A control valve unit (10) disclosed supplies hydraulic fluid to an actuator (12) in a manner that controls both acceleration and deceleration of the actuator movement. A supply valve (14, 22) of the unit is movable from a central closed position in opposite directions to open positions and back to the closed position by a servomechanism (16) and a control circuit (18) that operates the servomechanism to cooperatively control the supply of the hydraulic fluid to the actuator in a manner which controls both acceleration and deceleration of the actuator movement. A control member (62) of the servomechanism operates the supply valve and is moved in a controlled manner by cooperative operation of a pair of hydraulically operated pilot pistons (88a, b), a pair of acceleration control pistons (90a, b), and a pair of deceleration cams (84a, b). Directional and flow control valves (89, 92) of the control circuit operate the pilot pistons and the acceleration control pistons in cooperation with each other.
