  • Publication number: 20190336076
Abstract: In some examples, determining a heart failure status includes using an implantable medical device configured for subcutaneous implantation and comprising a plurality of electrodes and an optical sensor. Processing circuitry of a system comprising the device may determine, for a patient, a current tissue oxygen saturation value based on a signal received from the at least one optical sensor, a current tissue impedance value based on a subcutaneous tissue impedance signal received from the electrodes, and a current pulse transit time value based on a cardiac electrogram signal received from the electrodes and at least one of the signal received from the optical sensor and the subcutaneous tissue impedance signal. The processing circuitry may further compare the current tissue oxygen saturation value, current tissue impedance value, and current pulse transit time value to corresponding baseline values, and determine the heart failure status of the patient based on the comparison.

  • Patent number: 10424013
Abstract: An online system uses, in various embodiments of the invention, credit report information, loan affordability screening and credit approval and management functionality to facilitate the purchase and finance of products online. The online system may include both sellers of products and lenders that offer financing to buyers seeking to purchase the products. The system may automatically obtain a buyer's credit report information and use that information to determine if the buyer is pre-approved, for example, to obtain financing for a particular product or products. The system also enables use of buyer credit information to identify only those of a seller's products for which the buyer is pre-approved, for example, to finance using one or more loans. The system then enables selection of an identified product or products for purchase, and selection of a loan, for example, for financing of the selected product or products.

  • Publication number: 20190259022
Abstract: A proxy card used at an ATM, or at any vendor store, that has a legacy point of sale unit or at a store with the smart point of sale. In general, it can be used with any vendor and otherwise as any credit or debit card might be used. The point-of sale unit interacts with a multi-source processing system (MSPS) that, instead of servicing a single money source, interacts with more than one of a plurality of monetary sources that may be associated with the proxy card. The money transferred from credit or debit accounts of the user may be either transferred directly or indirectly via a proxy central account associated with the MSPS that a user maintains.

  • Patent number: 10023020
Abstract: An active suspension system senses roadway defects and adjusts an active and controllable suspension system of the vehicle before tires come in contact with the defect. The active suspension system identifies a type of defect or debris, e.g., pothole, bump, object, etc., along with the size, width, depth, and/or height information of the defect to more accurately control operation of the suspension system to prepare for, or avoid contact with the roadway defects and obstacles. Imaging techniques are employed to identify the defect or debris. Operation of a serviced cruise control system is controlled to enhance passenger safety and comfort.

  • Patent number: 9979954
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided in which eyewear with time shared viewing is capable of supporting delivery of differing content to multiple viewers/users. The content that is delivered to each viewer includes a respective frame sequence that is displayed on a screen. The frame sequences are mixed when they are displayed on the screen. A lens assembly may be used by each viewer to view the frame sequence that is delivered to that viewer. For instance, a first lens assembly may pass a first frame sequence but not frame sequences other than the first frame sequence. A second lens assembly may pass a second frame sequence but not frame sequences other than the second frame sequence, and so on. The content that is delivered to a viewer may depend on a maturity of the viewer (e.g., whether the viewer's maturity is less than a maturity threshold).
