  • Publication number: 20220168617
Abstract: A golf bag with a removable snap-in strap system wherein the strap system comprises a set of heterogeneous connectors that fasten a set straps to the golf bag. The connectors are able to accommodate the dominant hand of the user through a variety of heterogeneous configurations of the connectors, including geometry, ability to angle the straps, and surface area. These configurations allow the straps to create more arm space for the user, an easier assembly to a corresponding divider top, and equal distribution of weight across the straps, thereby, promoting comfort and balance for the user.

  • Publication number: 20220132999
Abstract: The present disclosure is related to a snap system including a mating component and a snap component that connect by means of a snap fit or otherwise. The mating component simplifies the assembly process by combining a structural component and an attachment point. The snap component is associated with a removable component that mates with the attachment point of the mating component. The snap system includes a mating component that combines a structural component to secure a material and an attachment point to secure a snap component. The design of the structural component allows the mating component to be used with a variety of materials having a variable thickness. The mating component is a versatile feature as the structural component self-adjusts to the thickness of the material provided. The snap system decreases the amount of components necessary for manufacturing, which may decrease the cost, as well as improve the visual appeal.

  • Publication number: 20220111272
Abstract: Described herein is a golf bag with a deployable stand assembly and anti-tangle features that prevent clubs from tangling within the golf bag, and in particular, prevent golf club grips from crossing over and other and making it difficult to pull out a particular club. Because multiple golf clubs are often placed together in a single golf bag, the golf clubs can get in each other's way. Golf clubs can tangle if their shafts or grips crisscross within the bag. Club tangle is typically caused by movement of the club grips, while the clubs are stored in the bag. When clubs are tangled, it becomes hard to remove a single golf club without either facing resistance or pulling a second club out. Golf clubs are typically placed head-up in a golf bag, resulting in the golf club grips sitting in the base of the bag. During a golf round, fabric portions of the bag can crumple, especially near the base, restricting the available area for the golf clubs. The area restriction can shift the grips and aggravate entanglement.

  • Publication number: 20220096903
Abstract: Embodiments of a strap assembly system for a golf bag are described herein. The strap assembly system can be converted between a single-strap configuration or a double-strap configuration. The strap assembly system comprises a first strap, a second strap, and a back puck. The back puck comprises first and second attachment openings for securing the first strap. The back puck further comprises first and second side openings that define a linear pathway and are configured to receive the second strap. The second strap can move freely along the linear pathway.

  • Publication number: 20220054907
Abstract: Described herein is a golf bag with a sub-assembly and a stand assembly that together form a carry bag. The sub-assembly can comprise a divider top, a base, a flat that extends between the divider top and the base, and an outer ring. The outer ring defines a recess configured to receive the top surface of the mounting bracket. The recess comprises a geometry complimentary to the top surface of the mounting bracket. The top surface of the mounting bracket is received by the complimentary geometry recess such that the flat is positioned between the outer ring and the mounting bracket.

  • Publication number: 20200353329
Abstract: Described herein is a golf bag with a collapsible pocket assembly. The golf bag can comprise a first pocket, a second pocket, and a third pocket, wherein the third pocket comprises a wall. The third pocket wall can comprise a first region and a second region, wherein the first region of the third pocket wall is the same wall as at least one of the sidewalls of the second pocket. When shipping golf bags, the golf bag flats oftentimes must be shipped separately from the golf bag tops. The instant golf bag can be collapsed for shipping, allowing the golf bag tops to be partially installed onto the golf bag flats prior to shipping, reducing shipping and assembly labor costs.

  • Publication number: 20200215400
Abstract: Described herein is a golf bag with a sub-assembly and a stand assembly that together form a carry bag. The sub-assembly can comprise a divider top, a base, a divider sleeve, one or more stays that secure the base to the divider top, and a flat. The stand assembly can comprise a pair of legs, a spring, a pair of brackets for attaching the spring to the legs, and a pair of leg end cap protectors. When strapped to a golf cart, a golf bag can rub against portions of the cart, wearing paint off the legs. The instant golf bag comprises leg end cap protectors that can prevent wear on an upper portion of the legs. Furthermore, the stand assembly can be shipped disconnected from the sub-assembly to allow the sub-assembly to collapse and reduce shipping box size.
