Abstract: A method for calibrating a seed meter. The method comprises a step of providing the seed meter and a calibration disc. The seed meter comprises a motor with a driveshaft, and the driveshaft is configured to be positioned by the motor in an uncorrected home position. An additional step includes engaging the calibration disc with the seed meter, with the calibration disc including a plurality of indicia on a surface of the calibration disc. A further step includes identifying a corrected home position for the driveshaft, with such identifying step including determining, via the calibration disc's indicia, an angular offset between the uncorrected home position and the corrected home position of the driveshaft.

Abstract: A method in a financial advice system for providing specific recommendations regarding the purchase and sale of specific assets for a client's portfolio. The method can operate to provide specific reasons for each recommended action, and can provide alternative actions for different purchases and sales. Further, the method allows for accounting for specific client preferences and characteristics. The method also provides a sequential approach of inputting client preferences and characteristics and generating a recommended asset allocation taking into account the client's preferences and characteristics. Further, the method can allow for a user to make specific preference indications regarding the purchase and sale of specific assets.

Abstract: A holder (10) is disclosed for storing books and similar articles and for supporting the articles in open position includes a body (14) and a cover (16) hinged together to define a right rectangular polyhedron shape when the holder is closed. The cover (16), which forms the upper portion of the holder (10), is pivotable forwardly and downwardly about a pair of double-acting hinges (18) located along a horizontal centerline on the front wall of the holder (10). The cover (16) includes a top wall (46) which forms the top of the holder (10) when the cover (16) is closed and then lies flat on the surface on which the holder is standing when the cover (16) is open.
