  • Patent number: 11729449
Abstract: A technique is described for generating a unified list (e.g., a list ribbon) of programs from a variety and disparate channels, the list for display on an over-the-top (OTT) client device. As an example, the unified list can be generated from OTT live channels and from over-the-air OTA and/or Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC) live channels. Further, the unified list can include OTT recordings on the cloud and OTA/ATSC recordings on the local hard drive connected to an OTA local DVR. Thus, the OTT device Client obtains the list from the DVR backend, instead of going to the local OTA client box for the local recordings.

  • Publication number: 20220314126
Abstract: A video game matchmaking and match authentication system is configured to interact with a third party game software and game server to supplement or replace that third party's matchmaking process. The system builds a player profile and unique player signature for each player based upon their performance within a game, and based upon the raw player inputs received from a game controller. The player signature indicates the player's skill within a particular game or game genre, and also provides a unique representation of the player's expected performance, skill, and raw inputs for future matches within that game or game genre. Matchmaking is player driven to provide a desired match experience, and player skill matching occurs based on the player signatures. Monitoring and authentication occurs during the match and is based on analysis of raw inputs and match events to identify irregularities that suggest intentional manipulation.

  • Patent number: 11446556
Abstract: A lightweight compression molded multicolor golf grip having at least a first section and a second section of differing colors and composed of elastomer compounds joined by cross-linking across a sharply defined cross-color interface having an interface transition zone beyond which there is no mixing of the colors. The grip has a soft feel and unique compression characteristics achieved in some embodiments through the controlled use of an expanding blowing agent in a rubber compound. Achieving the sharply defined cross-color interface is due in part to the use of complementary geometries at opposing interface edges to increase the stability of the interface and reduce the flow during molding associated with the increased viscosity of low density rubber compounds, promote cross-linking of the sections, and better distribute and control the consolidation pressure.

Abstract: Process core isolation for execution of multiple operating systems on a multicore computer system includes booting first and second operating systems (OSs) on a computer system that includes a plurality of processor cores across physical central processing unit(s) (CPUs). Booting the first OS boots the first OS on a first subset of the processor cores. Booting the second OS, different from the first OS, boots the second OS on a second subset of the processor cores. The first and second subsets are mutually exclusive, where a first processor core of a physical CPU of the physical CPUs is included in the first subset and a second processor core of the physical CPU is included in the second subset, and where the first and second OSs execute concurrently on the computer system, and each of the first and second OS executes on only its respective subset of processor core(s).
