  • Patent number: 8104473
Abstract: A system for securing a mask onto a subject's head is provided. The system may include a mask base, a mask latch, and a mask head strap. The mask base may be configured to support a gas delivery conduit for delivering gas to the subject. The mask latch may be pivotally coupled to the mask base about an axis extending generally laterally across the mask base. The mask head strap may be configured to be positioned around a subject's head and coupled to the mask latch such that rotation of the mask latch about the axis and relative to the mask base adjusts the mask head strap.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 3, 2009
Date of Patent: January 31, 2012
    Assignee: Nellcor Puritan Bennett LLC
Inventors: Brian Woodard, Erik Holverson, James deBeers, Benjamin K. Sun

  • Patent number: 7490608
Abstract: A system for adjusting a gas delivery mask is provided. The system may include a base, an arm pivotally coupled to the base, and an intermediate member slidably coupled to both the base and the arm. The arm may include a first threaded portion, and the intermediate member may include a second threaded portion coupled to the first threaded portion. Rotation of the second threaded portion relative to the first threaded portion may slide the intermediate member along the arm and relative to the base such that the arm pivots relative to the base.

  • Publication number: 20070084222
Abstract: A system for freezing, thawing, transporting, and storing a biopharmaceutical material, which includes a container, a supporting structure, a temperature control unit, and a transportation cart. The container is adapted to receive the biopharmaceutical material therein for freezing, thawing, storing, and transporting, with the container also being receivable in the supporting structure. The temperature control unit has a cavity for receiving the supporting structure, when the supporting structure supports the container, and the transportation cart has a channel for receiving the supporting structure, when the supporting structure supports the container.

  • Publication number: 20050205077
Abstract: A handle and light assembly for use on a barbecue grill. The assembly is inclusive of handle and at least one source of illumination for illuminating a cooking surface inside a hollow cooking chamber of the barbecue grill. The handle may function both as a means for opening a lid to access the cooking surface and also as a compartment for retaining the energy used to power the source of illumination. The lid includes at least one channel for the appropriate wiring to extend from the energy compartment to the illumination source. Accordingly, the handle may be located on the outside of the grill lid, and the source of illumination may be located inside the hollow cooking chamber.
