  • Publication number: 20230014832
Abstract: A computer network based rewards program, management method, and system in which rewardable promotions of predetermined goods or services by enrolled promoter entities on network platforms are automatically recognized and rewarded in accordance with criteria established by rewarder entities. Content analysis engines employed by the system may invoke machine learning tools. Contexts of the promotions may be analyzed and characterized for compliance with the criteria.
    Type: Application

  • Patent number: 7670266
Abstract: An elliptical machine has a frame and an operating linkage between the frame and foot supports. Each side of the operating linkage comprises five links that are connected with five pin joints. A foot support is connected to each side of the operating linkage with each of the five pin joints being positioned forward of the foot support.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 29, 2005
Date of Patent: March 2, 2010
    Assignee: Unisen, Inc.
Inventors: Victor Torres Cornejo, Mark William Chiles, James Dey, Felipe J. Marin, Kevin Patrick Corbalis
  • Patent number: 7666122
Abstract: An elliptical exercise machine features a pair of translating members to which a pair of foot members is axially secured. The foot members each pivots with respect to the associated translating member. The generated motion allows a user to lock a knee before beginning downward movement and allows a user to bend the same knee before beginning forward movement such that the motion is more natural for the user.

  • Patent number: 7544152
Abstract: An exercise machine has a frame and an operating linkage. The operating linkage includes any of a number of mechanisms that can adjust a foot trace generated by the linkage. In one configuration, the foot trace can be adjusted between at least a generally vertical trace and a generally horizontal trace.

  • Patent number: 6223388
Abstract: A castor assembly suitable for use in decks or dollies for moving freight or other heavy items includes a wheel, a carriage on which the wheel bracket is mounted for rotation about a first axis and a bearing enabling the carriage to rotate about a second axis at an angle different than the first axis, the first axis being offset from the second axis. The bearing includes an inner bearing ring and an outer bearing ring movable relative to one another. The inner bearing ring is secured for rotation with the carriage about the second axis. The inner bearing ring is disposed generally concentrically within the outer bearing ring and the carriage is disposed generally concentrically within the inner bearing ring. The inner and outer bearing rings and the carriage together form a substantially planar assembly.

  • Patent number: 4106469
Abstract: The specification discloses a motor kill system for automatically shutting off and killing an internal combustion engine to prevent damage to the engine from obstruction of the air cleaning system. The motor kill system includes a vacuum switch operating in response to a drop in the pressure between the air cleaning system and the intake manifold of the engine caused by obstruction of the air cleaning system. The preferred embodiment of the invention utilizes a normally open vacuum switch that closes to cause a solenoid to operate a butterfly valve to cut off the air supply to kill the engine. An alternate embodiment of the invention utilizes a normally closed vacuum switch which operates in response to obstruction of the air cleaning system to open the circuit between the ignition and the fuel pump to cut off the fuel supply and thereby kill the engine before any damage is done.
