  • Publication number: 20180375897
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for emulating devices communicating over a network. In one example, the method includes scanning real network devices by sending a network traffic, recording the network responses from the real network devices, and deploying unikernel-based virtual machines based on the recorded network responses. The unikernel virtual machines may respond to an external network scan based on the fingerprint files and the service files generated from the recorded network responses.

  • Patent number: 7516194
Abstract: A method and system for downloading high volumes of content from the Internet without adversely affecting the source of the content or being detected. A director server processes data received from a data source to generate a list of addresses for content to download. The director server assigns a portion of the list of addresses to one or more puller servers. Puller servers initiate requests to download content that corresponds to their assigned list of addresses. A proxy gateway server receives the download request for content, and downloads the content via various Internet Protocol addresses.

  • Publication number: 20020083103
Abstract: Documents translated from one language to another, especially machine-translated documents, typically require editing to better reflect the nuances of language content and meaning; and especially the use of nomenclature that is culture and or industry specific, or even company specific. A dynamic database of editing rules helps to automate this editing of already-translated documents. An initial set of editing rules is deployed in the database and used to edit machine-translated documents. Manual changes subsequently made to the machine-edited documents are recorded and that data is used to form updates or additions to the initial editing rules. Over time, the rules database improves so that machine editing is more effective and, conversely, the manual editing burden and corresponding cost is reduced.
