Abstract: Power management systems and methods are used to charge batteries and battery-powered devices over an allotted period of time. A finite amount of source power is allocated and distributed across multiple devices according to a schedule. Users submit requests for time slots in the schedule. For example, a charging platform for electric vehicles can prioritize recharging vehicles that have impending departure times and defer recharging vehicles that are expected to remain present longer.
