  • Publication number: 20230269904
Abstract: In example implementations, an apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes an air moving device to cool the apparatus, a memory, and a processor. The memory is to store an operational speed-to-noise correlation of the air moving device. The processor is communicatively coupled to the air moving device and the memory. The processor is to receive a noise level selected by a user, determine an operational speed of the air moving device based on the noise level selected by the user and the operational speed-to-noise correlation of the air moving device, and control the air moving device to operate at the operational speed that is determined.

  • Publication number: 20070252356
Abstract: Combination bicycle and scooter having an eight inch diameter front wheel and a twelve inch diameter rear wheel, where by means of a double drive sprocket assembly, a person can pedal in a normal way and achieve speeds associated with a standard bicycle having twenty-six inch diameter wheels. The steering stem is hinged where it meets the longitudinal frame member. The frame member can telescope inward so that the entire bicycle and scooter assembly can fold down to approximately forty-two inches long, thirteen inches tall and nine inches wide, making it easy to transport in a vehicle such as an automobile, bus, train, boat or plane. A foot plate mounted on top of the longitudinal frame member allows the user to use the device as a standard scooter.

  • Publication number: 20050108310
Abstract: The invention relates to fitting a curve to a plurality of data points. A “seed curve” is determined from a first set of data points selected from the plurality of data points. From the remaining data points, data points are individually selected and a determination is made for each selected data point as to whether the data point is acceptable to be included with the first set of data points. When a data point is determined to be acceptable, the data point is included with the first set of data points to form another set of data points. After each of the other data points are evaluated for inclusion with the first set of data points, a best fit curve is determined from a final set of data points.

  • Publication number: 20050060217
Abstract: A system for processing data identifying issues including problems comprises an input processor, an issue processor, and a task scheduling processor. The input processor receives issue identification data identifying a type of issue to be processed. The issue processor parses the issue identification data, and associates a product category with the type of issue based on parsed issue identification data. The task scheduling processor assigns a worker to attend to the issue in response to the product category, and initiates generation of a record of the assignment.
