  • Publication number: 20200247726
Abstract: A method of processing a powder, comprising (a) contacting the powder with (i) a 2-40% by weight solution of a sulphur- or phosphorous-containing mineral acid or a mixture thereof, or (ii) one or more alkaline earth metal oxides, carbonates or hydroxides, or a mixture thereof; (b) combining the product of (a)(i) with one or more alkaline earth metal oxides, carbonates or hydroxides, or a mixture thereof; or combining the product of (a)(ii) with a 2-40% by weight solution of a sulphur- or phosphorous-containing mineral acid or a mixture thereof and optionally with further of the alkaline earth metal oxides, carbonates or hydroxides, or a mixture thereof; and (c) granulating the combination of (b) to form granules. Phosphate- and potassium-containing fertilisers are made using the granules.

  • Patent number: 6981714
Abstract: The Feet First Footrest assembly is comprised of an outer rail, a carriage, a footrest arm a footrest, and clamps for attaching the outer rail to the wheelchair frame. The top end of the footrest arm is attached to the carriage with mounting hardware. The footrest is attached to the bottom end of the footrest arm by associated hardware. The carriage, with footrest arm and footrest attached, slides to the extended position and retracted position along the outer rail. In the extended position the footrest assembly locks in place to permit use when needed. In the retracted position, beneath the wheelchair seat, the wheelchair can be conventionally folded for storage or transportation.

  • Publication number: 20050108137
Abstract: A user selects (a) a classification system involving different asset classes, (b) the asset classes in which investments are to be made in the classification system and (c) a limit to the investments in each asset class. The user also selects the mode (e.g., mail, e-mail, facsimile) in which the user is to be periodically notified of the user's investments, and the investment value in each asset class. The user is notified when the assets in a class exceed the established limit. The user may (a) do nothing, (b) change the limit in the asset class or (c) change the asset classes. The user may change the notification mode, and the notification periodicity, when the investment in an asset class increases above the established limit or when the excess above the limit continues to exist. The user may be a user, an agent for a user or an agent for a group of users.

  • Patent number: 6385006
Abstract: A disk drive system provides a low height device by mounting a circuit board or boards containing the electronic circuitry in the same enclosure with the head-disk assembly (HDA). The drive actuator mechanism is positioned at one side of one end of the enclosure and the circuit board or boards are positioned at the other side of that end of the enclosure. A gasket seals the HDA from contaminants, while the enclosure protects the electronic circuitry and cables from physical damage, electrostatic charges and electromagnetic interference. The circuit board or boards can be removed from the enclosure without removing the entire disk drive from the using system, and the entire drive assembly can readily be removed from the using system for replacement or use in another system.
