  • Publication number: 20050004365
Abstract: A compound having the Formula I wherein: R1 is independently selected from the group consisting of a straight chain alkyl group, a branched alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an alkoxy group, a monocyclic aromatic group, a polycyclic aromatic group, an alkylaryl group, or an arylalkyl group; R2 and R3 are independently selected from the group consisting of a straight chain alkyl group, a branched alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an alkoxy group, a monocyclic aromatic group, a polycyclic aromatic group, a heterocyclic group, an alkylaryl group, an arylalkyl group, an alkoxyaryl group, an arylalkoxy group, a halogen, and hydrogen; R4, R5, R6, R7, R8, R9, R10 and R11 are independently selected from the group consisting of a straight chain alkyl group, a branched alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an alkoxy group, a monocyclic aromatic group, a polycyclic aromatic group, an alkylaryl group, an arylalkyl group, an alkoxyaryl group, an arylalkoxy group, an aryloxy group, a halogen, and hydrogen.

  • Publication number: 20040176507
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to the field of primers and adhesion promoters. More specifically, the primer of the present invention is comprised of one or more multi-carbonylated methacrylates. In a preferred embodiment, a non-ketone polar solvent is also employed. The resulting composition eliminates primer related discoloration of artificial nail enhancements, eliminates the potential for corrosion of skin and nails, and eliminates risk of chemical burn injury, while providing stronger adhesion than currently available primers.

  • Publication number: 20030101867
Abstract: The invention is directed to a process for the adsorption of organic vapours from gas mixtures containing them onto activated carbon, said process comprising passing the gas mixture consecutively through at least a first and a second adsorption system, the first system consisting of activated carbon having a first adsorption rate for the said organic vapours and the second system consisting of an adsorbent having a second adsorption rate for the said organic vapours, the said second adsorption rate being higher than the said first adsorption rate, more in particular to such process when used in the operation of vehicle internal combustion engines.
