  • Publication number: 20240108393
Abstract: A thermal cutting element of an electrosurgical instrument includes a base substrate defining a first side and a second side, at least one insulating layer disposed on at least the first side of the base substrate, and a heater circuit trace disposed on the at least one insulating layer. The thermal cutting element has an operating temperature of at least about 350° C. Temperature Coefficient of Resistance (TCR) of at least about 50 ppm/° C. An electrosurgical instrument and electrosurgical system including the thermal cutting element are also provided.

  • Patent number: 10688900
Abstract: A portable cigar holder for holding both a lit cigar and an extinguished stub at the same time, configured to be mounted on a support in moving vehicle. The cigar holder comprises a vertical heat-resistant rubber tube with a resilient tubular sidewall and an open upper end, a metal cup connected to or inserted in a lower end of the tube, and a pair of splits formed in opposing sides of the resilient sidewall. The splits define horizontally spaced vertical cigar-clamping slots with resiliently serrated side edges, the slots terminating at their lower ends above the rim of the metal cup.

  • Patent number: 5706345
Abstract: An over the head hands free phone holder comprising an adjustable headband terminated on each end by pivotable rigid housings whose inner surfaces are terminated by resilient ear cushions similar to an audio headset. A phone holding housing has an opening at the lower end which accepts most portable phones. Opposing gripping fingers on the left and right sides of the phone holding housing help hold the phone in place. The opposing, non-phone housing contains a perforated wall to which the resilient ear cushion is attached. A mating inner sliding wall has matching perforations. When the inner wall slides in a downward direction, the holes are misaligned with respect to the non-sliding wall, thereby blocking unwanted ambient noise. The non-phone housing also contains a weight to balance and offset the weight of the phone located on the opposite side of the user's head.

  • Patent number: 5214817
Abstract: A modular ramp and landing assembly made from a plurality of similarly sized pre-manufactured concrete filled rectangular panels. The ramp portion is made from the modular panels attached by their shorter sides. A support post with an angularly arranged bracket is placed beneath the corners of adjacent panels to secure them together as well as support them. The landing or horizontal portion of this assembly comprises a similarly sized rectangular panel the long side of which is in abutting relationship with the short side of the end of the ramp. Fastener receivers are equi spaced in duplicate patterns from each corner through the bottom edge of each panel. The size of the panels and the spacing of the fastener receivers are such that minimum support legs and brackets may be utilized in constructing this assembly at a final site.

  • Patent number: 4550456
Abstract: An infant cradle assembly having a cloth sling sewn around the interconnecting tubes of a rectangular plastic frame. The frame is suspended by a plurality of elastic cords from a tubular fixture or sleeve capable of being attached to a strand, frame, and the like. The tubular fixture permits the length of the cords attached to one end of the frame to be adjusted relative to the other, so that the cradle may be tilted as desired in use. The cradle body is supported in a manner that it may undergo a multitude of motions while a baby is being rocked or swung.
