    Abstract: Means for assembling ferromagnetic stators of rotating electric machines to housings made of lightweight alloys where high temperature operation causes loss of interference fit between stator and housing. Keys are equally spaced about the housing and are spring loaded with Belleville-type springs to maintain adequate centering forces on the stator at high temperature.
