Abstract: A buoyant wastewater aeration apparatus includes a buoyant float pod and at least one air conduit leg removably attached at a leg input end to a respective air supply outlet. The float pod further includes a leg-retainer structure that accommodates efficient engagement/dis-engagement of the air conduit leg at a known region of the leg. The leg-retainer structure may be in the form of a resilient clamp having an open end for removably engaging the known region of the leg. Alternatively, the leg may have attached thereto in the known region thereof a leg retainer-engaging structure that surrounds the leg, wherein the leg-retainer structure is a non-resilient split-ring having a given shape and dimension. The split space has a dimension sufficient for the leg diameter to pass through.
