The furnace leg assembly has a carriage bolt with a rounded head, which allows the assembly to support the furnace on any part of the rounded head so that if the furnace shifts at any point, the bolt will adjust and the pressure will shift to wherever needed on the head of the carriage bolt to keep the furnace level.
