    Abstract: A system and method of identifying a caller is provided. A subscriber number is inputted into a first communication device to place a call to a subscriber of the communication system. The call is routed through a transport system to a communication node. A determination is made as to whether the number associated with the first communication device matches a stored number in the address book. A name and location associated with the stored number is delivered by the communication node to a second communication device to provide the name and location of the caller to the subscriber.
