  • Patent number: 4216524
Abstract: An instrument panel including a lighting circuit, lights and signal indicators mounted on the instrument panel in a manner for ease in assembly and convenience for servicing. Indicator lights on the instrument panel will signal various operating conditions of the engine and the tractor. A cable is connected between the lighting circuit which is formed by a printed circuit on a circuit board and a sensing circuit which senses the sensed conditions of the engine and tractor. Light bulbs are positioned in compartments which are covered by windows carrying a symbol to indicate to the operator the operating condition of the tractor. The wiring is simplified by incorporating the connecting wires in a cable and a connector with a plug and socket arrangement for connecting the light circuit and sensor circuits for a simplified assembly and repair of the system in general.
