    Abstract: A yarn finish applicator includes a body providing a yarn contact surface including a slot with two side walls and a bottom. A passage extends to the slot through the body member so that finish is supplied to the slot by flowing through the passage. Heating capability is provided in the body member for heating the finish as the finish flows to the yarn in the slot.
