Abstract: A dispensing bottle is provided including a closure cap having a base that includes a central member with an opening for fluid to flow through and an inner skirt for securing the closure cap to a container body. The base further includes an internal shaft about the opening of the base and having threads thereon to which a movable tube is threaded onto to thereby form an expandable serum well. The movable tube has an extension that engages at least one of a neck of the container body and a liner secured to the neck such that when the closure cap is at least partially unthreaded from the container body the movable tube is retained in position relative to the at least one of the container body and the liner to thereby expand the expandable serum well as the closure cap is unthreaded from the container body.

Abstract: A dispensing bottle is provided that includes a container body having a neck forming an opening and neck threads thereon. The dispensing bottle includes a closure cap having a skirt with corresponding threads to secure the closure cap to the container body. The dispensing bottle further includes a liner and a fitment having a base portion and a tube. The base portion is attached to the neck of the container body and includes at least one opening therethrough. The tube extends from the opening of the base portion and into the container body to form a fluid flow channel within the neck of the container body to the opening of the base portion and to form a serum well within the neck of the container body. The liner is sealed to a rim of the neck of the container body and/or the base portion of the fitment.

Abstract: A carton can be initially opened by pulling a gripping tab of a tear strip to detach of cover from the remaining body of the carton except along a hinge body portion on one side of the carton. With this arrangement, the carton can be opened by folding the cover back relative to the front panel along a hinge axis. Closing of the carton is performed by initially pivoting the cover such that a front portion of the cover extends about and overlaps a front panel portion of the carton. Then, the cover is pushed down, causing a portion of the hinge-defining strip to fold and the cover to shift downward so as to extend about and overlap portions of each of the sides of the carton.

Abstract: A packaged food product includes a container and a food product. The container has a rim and at least one wall extending away from the rim. The at least one wall defines a storage area, and the food product is retained within the storage area such that the food product is in contact with the at least one wall. The at least one wall is readily deformable by a hand of a user to reduce a volume of the storage area. Reducing the volume of the storage area causes the food product to exit the storage area. The container includes an integral tool portion including a tine extending from a distal end of the tool portion for breaking up the food product after removal from the storage area. The food product can be a wet cat or dog food.
