Abstract: A container lid, especially useful in the pharmaceutical testing industry, having a pair of overlapping lid elements which are rotatable with respect to one another. The lid elements have matching apertures which allow the insertion of testing apparatus into the container covered by the lid without the necessity of removing the lid. The rotatable elements may be positioned tightly around the testing apparatus to reduce the possibility of evaporative loss and of contamination of the testing medium.
