  • Publication number: 20240155344
Abstract: A controller coupled to plural mobile devices through a mobile communications environment including multiple available networks at a location remote from the plural mobile devices. The plural mobile devices are simultaneously connected to plural networks and collecting network data for each simultaneously connected plural multiple networks. The controller includes a receiver receiving from each mobile device the collected network data, where each mobile device is connected to the receiver via an active one of the simultaneously connected plural multiple networks for transmitting the collected network data; a processor configured to evaluate the collected network data from each mobile device and, based upon respective rules established for each mobile device, to produce respective sets of operating parameters for the plural mobile devices; and a transmitter to transmit to each mobile device the respective sets of operating parameters.

  • Publication number: 20240113974
Abstract: Mobile management method, system and client. Method includes receiving a DNS query for a host name from an application on client; retrieving reputation data associated with host name from a local cache on client; and determining a policy based on host name and the reputation data. Based on determined policy for the host name, blocking attempted network flows to a host corresponding to host name to produce blocked attempted network flows. Method also includes sending attempted network flow metadata related to the blocked attempted network flows to a collector on client; transmitting the attempted network flow metadata from the collector to a VPN server pool via a VPN tunnel; and producing an anomaly report from the transmitted attempted network flow metadata. The anomaly report includes at least one of anomalies, cohorts, trends, location boundaries, detected network security issues, detected compromised clients and/or optimized network usage.

  • Patent number: 11917408
Abstract: A controller and method of controlling a mobile device. The controller is coupled to a mobile device through a mobile communications environment. The controller is coupled to the mobile communications environment at a location remote from the mobile device, and includes a receiver that receives data from the mobile device, a processor that evaluates the data received from the mobile device based upon rules for the mobile device, and a transmitter that sends data to the mobile device to at least one of alert the user to a condition and modify current operating parameters on the mobile device.

  • Patent number: 5331915
Abstract: The invention is a kayak cockpit cover which is complementary to a channel formed in the kayak deck at the cockpit perimeter. The cover has a conventional closure around the kayak paddler's waist and a planar covering section spanning the cockpit opening. An edge assembly at the outer margin of the covering section includes a doubled section of fabric forming an endless sleeve around the cover, an endless resilient inflatable tube carried inside the sleeve, and a valve integral with the tube. A core element within the inflatable tube aids in manipulation of the edge assembly and fixes its length. When the edge assembly is inserted into the channel around the cockpit perimeter and the resilient tube is inflated, a watertight seal is formed as the expansion of the tube presses the skirt edge fabric against the channel interior wall, while the bulk of the inflated tube secures the cover edge to the kayak deck.

  • Patent number: 4127845
Abstract: A telemetry and control system is disclosed which allows a control office to communicate with a plurality of remote field stations over a preferably duplex communication channel. Transmissions, both controls and indications are formatted as messages comprising a number of words. The first word comprises the address of a selected field station to which the controls are, or have been, directed. A variable number of control words or indications and a check word or words conclude the message.
