  • Patent number: 10996689
Abstract: A flow rate ratio control device is provided with a main flow path, a plurality of branch flow paths that branch off from a terminus of the main flow path, a plurality of fluid control devices that are provided respectively on each branch flow path, and that are each equipped with a valve and a pressure-based flow rate sensor that is disposed downstream of the valve, and an operation setting unit that establishes settings such that, based on the target flow rate ratio, any one fluid control device from among the plurality of fluid control devices is made to operate in a flow velocity control mode in which the flow velocity of a fluid is controlled upstream of each valve, and the remaining fluid control devices are made to operate in a flow rate control mode in which the flow rate is controlled based on the target flow rates.

  • Patent number: 10191993
Abstract: According to some embodiments, a computer based and web enabled sweepstakes system that utilizes automation methods and tools to define a sweepstakes specification and to download the specification to one or more internet based web servers is disclosed. The web servers will permit a sweepstakes contestant to enter personal information into a sweepstakes central database using a web page entry form. The web server will provide the contestant with a printable document. The contestant will send the printed document to a centralized processing center by way of a publically available delivery service. Once received at the processing center, the contestant's unique OMR code found on the printed document is optically scanned and compared to information in the web server contestant data base. If the OMR code is found in the data base a match status flag is set within the contestants' record.

  • Publication number: 20070050962
Abstract: An apparatus for repairing steering knuckle (kingpin) bearings includes a table having multiple, adjustable slides for receiving and securing the steering knuckle to the table, a boring bar and cutter, two adjustable bearing supports for receiving and positioning the boring bar along an axis coincident with the axis of the kingpin bearings, a first drive assembly for advancing the boring bar and a second drive assembly for rotating the boring bar. A method of repairing a steering knuckle comprises securing the knuckle to the slides and the slides to the table, utilizing cylindrical centering rings to align the boring bar with the axis of the kingpin bearings, supporting and securing the boring bar on the previously established axis in a pair of bearing supports and rotating and feeding the boring bar and cutter to create new surfaces in the steering knuckle adapted to receive bearing sleeves.

  • Publication number: 20060170279
Abstract: A fixture and method for replacing brake spiders on heavy duty vehicle and truck axles includes fixture having an assembly with a flat reference surface and two internal bores just slightly larger than the respective inner and outer bearing surfaces on the axle having a damaged brake spider. The fixture also includes longitudinally adjustable rods or fingers. The method comprises the steps of determining a reference distance between a feature of the axle and the brake. The damaged spider is removed from the axle with, for example, an oxy-acetylene torch. Next, a replacement spider is temporarily attached to the rods or fingers which are adjusted to locate the replacement spider at the previously determined reference distance. The fixture and the spider are then placed on the axle. The spider is then tack welded to the axle, the fixture is removed and the spider is securely welded to the axle.
