  • Publication number: 20240151500
Abstract: A method of forming ballistic glass includes heat forming a polycarbonate panel while the polycarbonate panel is sandwiched between a non-planar glass panel and a mold panel such that the polycarbonate panel is formed to a geometry of the glass panel. The polycarbonate panel is positioned adjacent the glass panel such that a volume of space is defined therebetween, and the volume of space is filled with a flowable resin. The resin is cured to form an intermediate polymer layer between the polycarbonate panel and the glass panel. Ballistic glass may be formed using such methods. Vehicles may include such ballistic glass.

  • Patent number: 10988679
Abstract: Methods for fracturing subterranean formations include pumping a micro-proppant slurry into a wellbore located in the subterranean formation containing near field primary fractures and far field secondary fractures and sequentially increasing and decreasing flow rates of the micro-proppant slurry in the wellbore while propagating far field secondary fractures within the subterranean formation during two or more stress treatment cycles. Each stress treatment cycle includes increasing the flow rate of the micro-proppant slurry in the wellbore, then decreasing the flow rate of the micro-proppant slurry in the wellbore. The micro-proppant slurry includes a fracturing fluid and a micro-proppant having an average particle size of 150 micrometers or less.

  • Patent number: 10949048
Abstract: Organizations may comprise a variety of resources that are assigned to various organizational units, and allocated for various projects or tasks. A user who wishes to understand the organizational structure of the resources may examine information sources, such as resource manifests and resource access logs, and interpret such information with the user's knowledge of the organization, but may fail to achieve a comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date understanding of the organization. Instead, interactions among users and resources may be monitored to infer organizational structure; assignment of resources to organizational units; relationships among resources; and usages arising within such resource relationships. Based on such inferences, an interactive visual map may be automatically generated that depicts the arrangement of the organization and the interrelationships of the resources.

  • Patent number: 10941638
Abstract: Methods and systems for restimulating a previously fractured subterranean formation penetrated by a wellbore are described. The methods include plugging existing perforations in an outer casing and existing fractures in the formation with a diverting agent, placing an inner casing in the wellbore while the existing perforations and existing fractures are plugged with the diverting agent, perforating the inner casing and the outer casing to form new perforations, and pumping a fluid through the new perforations to create new fractures in the formation.

  • Patent number: 10920132
Abstract: Methods for reducing pressure dependent leak-off (PDL) in PDL fractures of an unconventional subterranean formation are described. The methods include introducing a first fluid including micro-proppant particulates into the formation, allowing a portion of the micro-proppant particulates in the first fluid to seal one or more PDL fractures in the formation, pumping an acid into the formation, allowing a portion of the micro-proppant particulates in the first fluid to divert a flow of at least a portion of the acid from the PDL fractures to a primary fracture, introducing a second fluid including micro-proppant particulates into the formation, and allowing a portion of the micro-proppant particulates in the second fluid to seal one or more PDL fractures in the formation.

  • Patent number: 10603742
Abstract: An additive manufacturing temperature controller/temperature sensor uses one or more spectrophotometric sensors to monitor temperature of successive layers and preferably localized sections of successive layers of a melt pool, and transients thereof, of an object being generated for the purpose of dynamic control of the additive manufacturing device and/or quality control of the generated object manufactured with the additive manufacturing device. Generally, the additive manufacturing temperature controller/sensor apparatus monitors temperature of a section of the object during manufacture as a function of wavelength, time, position, and/or angle to determine melt extent in terms of radius and/or depth.
