    Abstract: A method and valve assembly for inserting a spool into a secondary bore of a valve body. A slave tool is inserted into a primary bore axially adjacent a secondary bore of the valve body. The slave tool includes a slave bore axially aligned with the secondary bore. The spool is inserted through the slave bore into the secondary bore. A chamfer is provided on a first end of the secondary bore or spool adjacent the slave tool.
