  • Patent number: 11924102
Abstract: A computer-implemented method, network switch and computer program product for performing exact match lookup operations in a table. A hash of the lookup key is performed to generate a value which is used to identify a location in the hash memory space. The generated value is separated into a bucket row, a bucket column, a bucket plane and a secondary hash value, where the bucket row, bucket column and bucket plane are used to identify an originating home hash root bucket. The head entry on the collision chain of a hash root bucket identified via the secondary hash value that is a neighbor to the home hash root bucket is read to determine if an exact match of the lookup key exists. If the head entry exactly matches the lookup key, then a finding of an exact match of the lookup key is reported.

  • Publication number: 20140253450
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for controlling a computer using a wireless user interface device are disclosed. A wireless user interface device displays one or more mouse button areas and one or more application launch areas. In addition, the wireless user interface device detects motion of the wireless user interface device. When a user selects a mouse button area and/or an application launch area, the wireless user interface device transmits corresponding information to the host computing device. In addition, the wireless user interface device transmits motion associated with the wireless user interface device to the host computing device. The host device receives the data from the wireless user interface device and takes appropriate action(s). For example, the host device may move a cursor, execute a mouse click, and/or launch an application.

  • Patent number: 7941537
Abstract: A system, method, and computer-readable medium for resource migration in a distributed telecommunication system is provided. Respective sets of performance parameters of a first plurality of nodes disposed in a first node group and a second plurality of nodes in a second node group are collected. Service capabilities of the first node group and the second node group are evaluated based on the sets of performance parameters. One node group of the first node group and the second node group is designated as a currently preferred node group in response to evaluation of the service capabilities. The steps of collecting, evaluating, and designating are repeated a plurality of times. The currently preferred node group is designated as an active preferred node group in the event that a sequence of evaluating service capabilities each results in the one node group being designated as the currently preferred node group.

  • Patent number: 4912681
Abstract: A system for creating an admixture from a liquid and a relatively dry flowable material, such as granular detergent, is provided and includes a hopper for the dry flowable material, a pipe, a pair of valves defining a metering section of the pipe, and a mixing tank into which the dry material and water are introduced. The valves are alternately operated in response to sensed liquid level in the mixing tank to deposit a predetermined quantity of the dry material into the tank, and when the latter occurs, the water is injected tangentially into the tank to create a homogeneous admixture.

  • Patent number: 4093844
Abstract: An arc length welding control system in which a welding arc is established between a pair of electrodes. An optical device optically senses the arc and produces signals related to the arc. An optical circuit is responsive to these arc signals for measuring the arc length and produces data signals related to that length. One or more control devices are varied in response to the data signals for controlling the length of the arc to a desired value.
