    Abstract: There is disclosed in a chain hoist system or the like, an improved chain travel stop device which is readily attachable to and positionally adjustable on either the load carrying chain or the "slack chain" depending from the load hoisting or pulling machine. The device is positionable with improved facility at any preferred location along the length of any such chains, so as to limit the chain travel relative to the hoist/puller machine.
