Abstract: Particulate detergent compositions comprising a detergent active compound, an alkali metal carbonate and finely divided calcium carbonate, are made by contacting the alkali metal carbonate in particulate form with a liquid or pasty detergent active compound or mixture thereof and admixing the calcium carbonate in powder form with the alkali metal carbonate particles so that the calcium carbonate adheres thereto.

Abstract: A detergent product comprises a particulate detergent composition contained within a closed water-insoluble bag which has a water-sensitive seal, whereby the contents of the bag are discharged on contact of the bag with water. Use of such detergent products improves detergent dosage control and hence cost-effectiveness, and is particularly beneficial for detergent compositions of higher density than customary or which contain water-insoluble ingredients.

Abstract: Eyeglass frame structure comprising a lens receiving or bow portion having a pair of oppositely disposed temple or earpiece members hingedly secured at the opposite ends thereof, said lens receiving portion being provided with a transversely separable nose bridge element for facilitating installing of a lens member in the eyeglass frame, each of said earpiece members being of an adjustable length, and each earpiece member hingedly secured to the lens receiving portion for adjustment of the planar orientation of the lens receiving portion with respect to the earpiece axis in both lateral and transverse directions.

Abstract: The display has a mask positioned in front of it so that an opaque part of the mask prevents viewing the display. There may be several masks for different parts of the display. The masks are preferably in the form of tapes having opaque and transparent areas. The tape-masks are intermittently and/or sequentially moved to progressively reveal the display. The display may consist of one or more lines of pictorial, textual, or three-dimensional matter.
