    Abstract: A guide for portable power driven cutting tools comprising a guide member having a surface for placement on a workpiece and a tool guiding edge, and a gauge bar carried by the guide member for positioning the guide member on the workpiece in spaced relation to the line of cut. The guide is provided with at least one finger engageable formation on the guide member for maintaining the guide in a fixed position relative to a workpiece while a cut is being made by the power tool.
