  • Publication number: 20220184160
Abstract: A process is provided for improving the water solubility of lipophilic substances by combining lipophilic substances with milk fat globules. A water-soluble form of a lipophilic substance is also provided and made up of a lipophilic substance and a processed milk product. The processed milk product can be milk fat globules from a mammalian source. The processed milk product can contain from 10% by weight to 100% by weight milk fat. Methods of forming water-soluble forms of a lipophilic substances are also provided and can involve mixing together a lipophilic substance and a processed milk product to effect migration of the lipophilic substance into the processed milk product.

  • Publication number: 20220168354
Abstract: Compositions including anti-viral compositions, therapeutic compositions, sunscreen compositions, skin treatment compositions, and anti-aging compositions, are provided. Each composition includes milk fat globules (MFG) and may contain one or more agents encapsulated by the MFG. The unique nature of MFG provides an intact mammalian membrane containing proteins, glycoproteins, and carbohydrates found in mammary cells. MFG derived from mammals can be used to deliver pharmaceutical materials into an animal body such that the pharmaceutical materials bypass the venous blood and enter directly into the animal's lymphatic system. MFG allow the delivery of materials orally that could not heretofore have been delivered efficiently.

  • Patent number: 11298379
Abstract: Compositions including anti-viral compositions, therapeutic compositions, sunscreen compositions, skin treatment compositions, anti-aging compositions, and methods of making the same, are provided. Each composition includes milk fat globules (MFG) and may contain one or more agents encapsulated by the MFG. The unique nature of MFG provides an intact mammalian membrane containing proteins, glycoproteins, and carbohydrates found in mammary cells. By treating an infected patient with MFG, the MFG serve as a surrogate cell and interact with enveloped viruses, such as the COVID-19 coronavirus, the Herpes virus, and the Epstein Barr Virus, rendering them non-infectious. MFG derived from mammals can also be used to deliver pharmaceutical materials into an animal body such that the pharmaceutical materials bypass the venous blood and enter directly into the animal's lymphatic system. • Patent number: 11291700
Abstract: A process is provided for improving the water solubility of cannabinoids by combining cannabinoids with fat globules obtained from animals, plants, or synthetic chemistry. The animals can be mammals or non-mammals. The plants can be whole plants, tissue cultures, or genetically engineered plants. The fat globules can be used in their natural environment, and/or following processing, and/or as separated or purified particles.

  • Patent number: 4251265
Abstract: There is described a novel process for pelletizing clay containing aluminumous ore comprising the steps of:a. crushing the clay to within an appropriate size range;b. blending the crushed clay with water to achieve a closely defined moisture content;c. pelletizing the clay in a suitable apparatus to provide clay pellets of predetermined size;d. rolling the pellets for a period of time sufficient to round the edges, corners, etc. and to produce a relatively hard, abrasive resistant surface; ande. drying and calcining the pellets at a temperature within the range of from about 1100.degree. to about 1500.degree. • Patent number: 4246239
Abstract: Alumina values are extracted from clay by the steps of pelletizing into spherical particles, calcining the pellets in a fluidized bed reactor, extracting the clay in about 30-40% nitric acid, purifying the basic aluminum nitrate produced, crystallizing aluminum nitrate nonahydrate, decomposing the nonahydrate in at least three steps, calcining the produced alumina and reconstituting the NO.sub.x gases to nitric acid.
