  • Patent number: 11964098
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to aerosol delivery devices, methods of producing such devices, and elements of such devices. In some embodiments, the present disclosure provides devices configured for vaporization of an aerosol precursor composition that is contained in a reservoir and transported to a heating element by a liquid transport element. The liquid transport element may include a porous monolith.

  • Publication number: 20240110487
Abstract: A gas turbine engine includes a turbine section that has a retainer ring, a first vane that bears against the retainer ring to prevent movement of the first vane in a first axial direction, a second vane axially spaced from the first vane, and a blade axially between the first vane and the second vane. A blade outer air seal is situated radially outwardly of the blade. The blade outer air seal includes a ceramic matrix composite body that defines a core gaspath side that faces the blade, a forward end, an aft end, and circumferential sides. There is a spring seal at the aft end of the blade outer air seal that seals against the second vane. The spring seal provides a preload that biases the blade outer air seal against the first vane and thereby biases the first vane against the retainer ring.

  • Publication number: 20240110488
Abstract: A gas turbine engine includes a turbine section that has a ceramic matrix composite body that defines a core gaspath side that a row of blades, a forward end, an aft end, and circumferential sides. The forward end abuts at least one vane of a first row of vanes, and the aft end including a seal channel. A compliant seal is disposed in the seal channel and seals against at least one vane of a second row of vanes.

  • Publication number: 20240074001
Abstract: An aerosol delivery device having a detachable power source is provided. A control body may be coupleable with a cartridge to form an aerosol delivery device. The cartridge may contain an aerosol precursor composition and be equipped with a heating element configured to activate and vaporize components of the aerosol precursor composition. The control body may comprise a housing and a power source detachably coupled to an outer surface of the housing. A control component may be contained within the housing and configured to operate in an active mode in which the control body is coupled with the cartridge. The control component in the active mode may be configured to direct power from the power source to the heating element to activate and vaporize components of the aerosol precursor composition.

  • Publication number: 20130278289
Abstract: An integrated circuit (“IC”) device capable of programmably performing user selected functions is disclosed. The IC device, in one embodiment, includes multiple input output (“I/O”) blocks, programmable interconnection blocks (“PIBs”), and programmable logic blocks (“PLBs”). While the I/O blocks can be selectively coupled to one of I/O pads, the PIB blocks can be selectively coupled to at least a portion of the I/O blocks. Each of the PLBs, in one aspect, is configured to have at least two programmable look-up tables (“LUTs”). The programmable LUTs are connected in a cascade configuration via a dedicated programmable wire (“DPW”).

  • Publication number: 20120260183
Abstract: A system allows users to view and analyze the status of one or more selected entities by obtaining status information associated with the selected entities and displaying the information with identifiers associated with each of the selected entities. Various embodiments of the disclosure can provide different and additional methods of displaying, analyzing, and tracking status information associated with the selected entities. Entities can selectively restrict some or all status information from being viewed by some or all users. In addition, an entity can be a user, who can self-report status information to be viewed by the user, other users, or other entities.

  • Patent number: 5622369
Abstract: The resilient game target includes a generally planar surface which has multiple cup shaped concave receptacles. Multiple resilient dome-shaped protrusions surround each cup shaped receptacle such that a game piece which strikes a resilient dome-shaped protrusion will be reflected. Multiple target indicia are displayed on the planar surface in association with selected cup-shaped receptacles such that a selected score may be associated with a final resting position of a thrown game piece. The resilient game target is preferably integrally formed of a resilient foam, such as open-cell polyurethane.

  • Patent number: 5440957
Abstract: An improved filter wrench is shown for applying torque to a canister-type oil filter to engage and disengage the threaded end thereof from an engine block. The tool includes a wrench body having a larger and smaller aperture for reversibly receiving smaller and larger relatively sized filter canisters. A separate driver adapter engages the exterior surface of opposite extents of the wrench body when different sized filters are being engaged within the larger and smaller apertures of the wrench body respectively, so that a variety of sizes of filters can be driven by the wrench.
