  • Publication number: 20240112216
Abstract: An intelligent system, method and device for providing a discount program benefit to a patient and managing patient prescription medication programs that implements intelligent evaluations to provide prescriptions to a patient which include discount benefits that are available for a physician prescribed medication for the patient during a patient consultation with a physician prescriber. The intelligent system also may generate, process, manage and store transactional data of the patient and medication program for the patient's benefit, and intelligently monitor the patient prescription along with prescriptions of others. Patient health is promoted by facilitating patient adherence to a prescribed medication, and to avoid potential effects of a disease or condition that may result from or be exacerbated by the failure to take a medication, or to adhere to a medication schedule. Intelligent sampling further is implemented to achieve the benefits.

  • Patent number: 10648357
Abstract: A pneumatic trip system for a turbine includes a valve member; a valve stem connected to the valve member; and an actuator assembly connected to the valve stem. The actuator assembly includes a cylinder; a piston connected to the valve stem, the piston dividing the cylinder into a first chamber and a second chamber; a biasing element disposed in the second chamber of the cylinder; and a pneumatic circuit in communication with the second chamber of the cylinder. The pneumatic circuit is configured to pressurize the second chamber of the cylinder to actuate the piston to move the valve stem and the valve member to an exercised position between the open position and the closed position while the first chamber is pressurized.

  • Patent number: 7086783
Abstract: A bearing assembly is disclosed for rotatably supporting a quill in the housing of a rolling mill laying head. The bearing assembly includes first and second axially spaced roller bearing sets interposed between the quill and the housing. The bearing assembly also includes a force exerting unit for applying a radial preloading force to the first bearing set at a first location around the circumference thereof. The preloading force is opposed by a reactionary force acting on the second bearing set at a second location around the circumference thereof disposed 180° from the first location.

  • Patent number: 4352084
Abstract: A compact configuration of resistive elements, plural circularly-arranged fixed contacts upon, or mountable upon, a printed circuit board (PCB), to comprise a rotary variable resistor. In one embodiment, fixed contacts are disposed upon one side of a PCB, in which through-conductors connect to a resistor pattern upon a separate ceramic substrate. In another embodiment, fixed contacts occupy the central area, and resistors and interconnecting conductors surround the same; all on one side of a ceramic substrate.Mutually insulated spring wipers connect to the fixed contacts to allow rotary variation of resistance.
