  • Publication number: 20040265863
Abstract: The present invention provides compositions and methods for recombinational cloning. The compositions include vectors having multiple recombination sites and/or multiple topoisomerase recognition sites. The methods permit the simultaneous cloning of two or more different nucleic acid molecules. In some embodiments the molecules are fused together while in other embodiments the molecules are inserted into distinct sites in a vector. The invention also generally provides for linking or joining through recombination a number of molecules and/or compounds (e.g., chemical compounds, drugs, proteins or peptides, lipids, nucleic acids, carbohydrates, etc.) which may be the same or different.

  • Patent number: 6544164
Abstract: A light wave energy health magnetic ring includes a plurality of blocks of different shapes formed from superconductive magnetic materials, natural crystals containing strong natural magnetic fields, and infrared ceramic beads. Bottom portions of the superconductive magnetic materials are formed with recesses for embedding crude crystals therein. Round, flat and circular-shaped, or wheel-shaped natural crystals and ceramic beads are spacedly disposed between adjacent superconductive magnetic materials such that the natural crystals are arranged in diagonally opposite positions. These elements are connected in a ring shape for wearing by a user. The magnetic waves can penetrate the muscles and bones of the body of the user to magnetize the cells of the body to thereby improve the circulation functions of the body.

  • Patent number: 5690462
Abstract: A parking device including a base frame, a top frame, four cylindrical poles mounted between four corners of the base and top frames, each of the cylindrical poles having two tubular members slidably mounted thereon, an upper platform fixedly mounted on the tubular members at an upper position, a lower platform fixedly mounted on the tubular members at a lower position, a plurality of first hydraulic cylinders mounted on a bottom of the top frame and drivingly connected with the upper platform, a plurality of second hydraulic cylinders mounted mounted on the base frame and drivingly connected with the lower platform, and a positioning device having a casing mounted on each of the tubular members, solenoid fitted within the casing, a plunger fitted within the casing and a spring arranged between the solenoid and the plunger, the plunger being forced by the spring to go partly into a tube radially arranged within each of the poles through the tubular members.

  • Patent number: 5074821
Abstract: A voice track is recorded on one track of a dual track recording device, typically a tape recorder. On a second track of the recorder an animation signal is recorded characterized by the signal having a frequency at any given time indicative of the then currently desired animation condition. A character is provided having a tape playback unit therein for playing back such pre-recorded dual track tapes, the character having an amplifier and speaker for reproducing the audio information, and a servo motor having a drive system for driving the character mouth elements and eyes with the desired animation, the drive system having a feedback device thereon for providing a feedback signal to the servo motor control. The electronics in the character which is responsive to the animation control signal provided by the playback unit to provide the servo motor drive signal effectively updates the servo motor drive signal on each cycle of the animation control signal received from the playback unit.
