  • Publication number: 20250144825
Abstract: A lockable tool with a sliding scale release is formed with a frame and a tool coupled to the frame with a locking mechanism to lock the tool into an extended or retracted configuration. A release mechanism is attached to a scale on the side of the frame. The scale is coupled to the frame. The tool is constructed such that sliding the scale along a longitudinal axis of the frame automatically unlocks the tool from the extended or retracted configurations. The tool can open and/or close automatically. The tool, such as a knife, can swing open or extend out a front opening in the frame.

  • Publication number: 20070046077
Abstract: A detachable bath bench has a seat assembly and two leg assemblies. The seat assembly has two opposite sides and at least one seat. The leg assemblies are mounted respectively on the sides of the seat assemblies and each has a bracket, two vertical supports, two fasteners and two legs. The bracket is mounted on the side of the seat assembly and has two mounting tubes. The vertical supports are respectively mounted detachably to the mounting tubes. The fasteners correspond to and are attached detachably to the mounting tubes and the vertical supports to prevent the mounting tubes and the vertical supports from separating. The legs are mounted respectively around the vertical supports. With the vertical supports detached from the brackets of the leg assemblies, the detachable bath bench becomes more compact and for storage or carrying.

  • Patent number: 7121620
Abstract: A foldable bath bench has a seat assembly and two leg assemblies. The seat assembly has a front, a rear, two opposite sides, two transverse crossbars and at least one seat. The transverse crossbars are mounted respectively at the front and rear, and each transverse crossbar has two opposite ends. The at least one seat is mounted on the transverse crossbars. The leg assemblies are mounted on the opposite sides of the seat assembly, and each leg assembly has two bracket assemblies, and two vertical supports and two legs. The vertical supports are attached respectively to the bracket assemblies and are able to pivot relative to the ends of the transverse crossbars. The legs are mounted respectively on the vertical supports. The foldable bath bench becomes more compact by folding the vertical supports of the leg assemblies relative to the seat assembly for carrying and storage.

  • Patent number: 6816201
Abstract: A television system and method for facilitating use of closed caption text or other information that may be included in an extended data service (XDS) system. The system includes a tuner adapted to receive a television signal, the television signal including a video signal and an XDS signal, and a television display for displaying a video image corresponding to the video signal. A data slicer coupled to the tuner extracts the XDS signal from the television signal, and sends the XDS signal out a data port to a peripheral device, such as a text display. The text display may be used to display text information included in the XDS signal, such as closed caption and/or other information included in text fields of the XDS signal. Alternatively, a computer may be coupled to the data port to monitor information, such as URL data, in the XDS signal to access on-line information.
