  • Publication number: 20080178567
Abstract: A base board heater having a dust screen or dust filter, located upstream of the heat convection inducing heat exchanger unit, captures the airborne dust particles prior to their entrance into the heat unit chamber where the heat exchanger is located. • Patent number: 7078043
Abstract: A non-naturally occurring variant of a C-terminal fragment of a Plasmodium merozoite surface protein-1 (MSP-1) wherein said variant has (i) a reduced affinity, compared with a naturally occurring Plasmodium MSP-119, for at least one first antibody capable of blocking the binding of a second antibody, which second antibody inhibits the proteolytic cleavage of Plasmodium MSP-142 and (ii) substantially the same affinity for at least one third antibody compared with said naturally occurring Plasmodium MSP-119. which third antibody inhibits the proteolytic cleavage of Plasmodium MSP-142 is provided for use in an anti-malarial vaccine.

  • Publication number: 20060130361
Abstract: The present invention is directed to an outsole for use with a shoe and a shoe having an improved outsole. The outsole includes a forward portion and a rearward portion that are connected by a ball-and-socket connection that allows the portions to move freely. The outsole may include flexible members disposed between discrete pieces of the forward portion to allow these pieces to flex freely. The outsole includes a pair of stabilizer rods. The outsole may be used with a sole construction that includes a gel cushion that is adjacent a transparent window member of the outsole. The outsole has areas of extension for improving the traction and balance of the user.
