  • Publication number: 20240093663
Abstract: A DC power plant generating DC power from a variety of engines including a Stirling cycle engine. The DC power plant includes a relatively small start-up power source that is discontinued after the engine is running. A method for producing DC power for a load including starting up an engine using power supplied by a relatively small power supply supplemented by a capacitor bank, providing output from the engine to a generator, producing alternating current (AC) power by the generator, converting the AC power to direct current (DC) power, disabling output of the DC power during a first set of pre-selected conditions, limiting a rate of change of current of the DC power during a second set of pre-selected conditions, reducing conducted and radiated emissions of the DC power, disconnecting the DC power from the load under a third set of pre-selected conditions, and providing the DC power to the load.

  • Publication number: 20130290127
Abstract: Methods and systems for selling and purchasing items in an online environment, including a set price purchase process and a negotiated price/value purchase process. The system presents to a potential buyer one or more specific product(s) which is/are available for immediate purchase at a pre-set price; provides the potential buyer with the option to request sellers to offer product(s) at a lower price (which may be set forth by the potential buyer), and/or offer the product(s) with different options, and/or to offer similar product(s); and provides sellers with the opportunity to offer the product and/or options to the potential buyer at the requested price/with the requested option, and/or to make offers to the potential buyer to provide the product(s) at different price(s) and/or with different options and/or to provide a different but similar product.

  • Patent number: 7226235
Abstract: A joint, usable as a component of a golf club, including an outer sleeve having a proximal end, a distal end, an outer surface and an inner surface; an inner sleeve having a proximal end, an outer surface in circumscribing contact with the inner surface of the outer sleeve, a slit, and a projection ring having an inner diameter; and an inner projection having a proximal end sized to be in circumscribing contact with the inner surface of the inner sleeve, a distal end, a key sized to be slidably fit in the slit of the inner sleeve, a proximal taper, a distal taper and a maximum diameter, the maximum diameter being larger than the inner diameter of the projection ring, the maximum diameter being selectively passable through the projection ring.

  • Patent number: 4723898
Abstract: In a small-sized and precision injection molding apparatus, a raw material supply means, a raw material plasticization means, an injection plunger means and a melted resin flow passage means are all together incorporated in a mold, thereby a substantial distance from the raw material up to a cavity becomes shorter. Thus, an overall construction of the injection molding apparatus becomes small-size and compact.
