  • Publication number: 20060279542
Abstract: The present invention relates to a cellular phone having motion driven access to object viewers. More particularly, the cellular phone is equipped with a motion sensor which is capable of sensing motion of the cellular phone initiated by a user. The motion sensor detects translational and rotational motion of the cellular phone. The motion sensor includes a mechanism providing a digital processor with motion vector measurements. The digital processor interprets the motion vector measurements to generate a motion vector against some frame of a reference. The present invention also provides a method for assisting a user in the control and operation of a cellular phone while traversing content using the display.

  • Publication number: 20050067021
Abstract: Described herein are apparatuses, methods and systems to monitor the performance of one or more mass flow controllers that supply gases to deposition, etching, and other manufacturing processes. A bypass loop is provided in fluid connection from either the process line or the vent line. In the bypass loop is a flow detector, such as a digitized mass flow controller. The flow detector takes one or more measurements of flow of gas from a mass flow controller, and data from such one or more measurements is used to provide information about the accuracy and/or precision of the mass flow controller. Also disclosed are ways to correct for back pressure or back vacuum in the process line.

  • Publication number: 20020135550
Abstract: A liquid crystal display (LCD) system, comprising a matrix of pixels, analyzes a video data stream for grayscale level jumps from extreme black to moderate gray levels. Transitions in grayscale levels are restricted between adjacent pixels so as to reduce image degradation due to fringe field effects. A memory, such as a plurality of shift registers, may be used to store grayscale levels of adjacent pixels which are compared and if a ratio between these grayscale levels exceeds a desire value then at least one of the grayscale levels is modified.
