  • Publication number: 20230354801
Abstract: A novel suspension type water medium agrochemical formulation comprising adjuvants selected from a copolymer dispersant comprising a copolymer of acrylic acid, hydrophobic monomer, alkylacrylate of a monoalkyl polyethylene glycol, and optionally strong acid derivatives of (meth)acrylic acid; non-ionic graft copolymer of acrylic ester and oxyalkylene; and having hydrophobic solid agrochemical active dispersed in aid water medium. A concentrate is also provided suitable for forming the formulation. The combination of copolymers provide dispersancy for the hydrophobic solid agrochemical active in the water medium of the suspension concentrate. There is also provided the use of said copolymers as dispersants for hydrophobic solid agrochemical active in agrochemical formulations, and a method of treating vegetation to control pests by applying the formulation or diluted concentrate form of the formulation to vegetation or the immediate environment.

  • Patent number: 11044906
Abstract: An emulsion polymer system suitable for use in agrochemical formulations for coating seeds. The emulsion polymer system comprises a core polymer and stabiliser polymer where the core is a polymer with a low glass transition temperature (?100° C. to 10° C.) and the stabiliser has a high glass transition temperature (30° C. to 300° C.). There is also provided a method of making the core-stabiliser system. The core-stabiliser system is suitable for seed coating formulations provided dust off, germination, and good flow.

  • Patent number: 4961772
Abstract: A glass melting furnace comprises a base structure (6) defining a melting chamber (8) an intermediate chamber (10), and a working chamber (12), in which chambers heaters are located. An opening (22) is provided into the melting chamber (8), through which batch material may be deposited on the body of molten glass in the melting chamber. Glass flows from the melting chamber (8) through an outlet (26) at a lower part thereof, which may open into the intermediate chamber (10), and flows over a wier (30) from the intermediate chamber (10) into the working chamber. Located in the outer walls of the working chamber are working outlets (34), through which blowing irons or the like tools may be entered, for a manual withdrawal of molten glass from the chamber (12).
