    Abstract: An inserter assembly (200) for deploying an intravesical device into a urinary bladder of a patient includes a placement catheter (210), a receiving funnel (220), and a stylet (230). The placement catheter defines a lumen extending from a proximal catheter end to an exit opening. The receiving funnel is secured to the placement catheter. The stylet is removably received through the receiving funnel within the lumen. The stylet includes a stylet body and a paddle (238). The stylet body is dimensioned to drive the intravesical device through the lumen and the exit opening into the bladder. The paddle is fixed to the stylet body about the proximal stylet end and is engageable with the receiving funnel. The paddle optionally includes a fitting (242) being lockably engageable with the receiving funnel to removably secure the stylet to the placement catheter.

A processor 120 determines an indication of inspiration or expiration as a function of the first and second derived current signals. The function of the first derived current signal and the second derived current signal may be a comparison of the derived current signals. The derived signals may be determined by filtering. The indication of inspiration or expiration may serve as a trigger or cycle control for changing treatment pressure in synchrony with patient respiration without measured signals from pressure, flow or speed sensors.

    Abstract: A stator assembly has coils in a distributed winding configuration. A poly-phase switched reluctance motor assembly may include a stator assembly with multiple coils in a distributed winding configuration. The stator assembly may have a central bore into which a rotor assembly having multiple poles is received and configured to rotate. A method of controlling a switched reluctance motor may include at least three phases wherein during each conduction period a first phase is energized with negative direction current, a second phase is energized with positive current and there is at least one non-energized phase. During each commutation period either the first phase or second phase switches off to a non-energized state and one of the non-energized phases switches on to an energized state with the same direction current as the first or second phase that was switched off. The switched reluctance motor may include a distributed winding configuration.
