  • Patent number: 11919005
Abstract: A fluid specimen collection receptacle includes a cup containing a chamber and an open end and a lid for connection with the cup open end and closing the cup chamber. A closure and a specimen collection needle are connected with the lid and a reservoir is arranged beneath the lid and connected with the closure for rotation relative to the lid between open and closed positions. The closure affords access to the needle when the closure is in the open position and prevents access to the needle when the closure is in the closed position. The reservoir includes a chamber closed by a portion of the lid when the closure is in the open position. When the closure is rotated to the closed position, the reservoir is opened for communication with the cup chamber to release an absorbent material from the reservoir chamber into the cup chamber to solidify any residual fluid specimen within the cup chamber.

  • Patent number: 10355518
Abstract: An emergency lighting driver device is configured to assume an operation mode in which: the battery is charged by applying the pulse signal to the transistor from the control unit, while the LED load is driven, wherein the emergency lighting driver device is configured to delay the pulse signal such that the rising edge(s) and/or falling edge(s) of the pulse signal have a transition time of at least 0.5 seconds, preferably at least 1 second, more preferred more than 1.5 seconds and preferably less than 3 seconds; and/or wherein the pulse signal is fed through a low pass filter unit of the emergency lighting driver device delaying the transition time of the rising edge(s) and/or falling edge(s) of the pulse signal before feeding it to the transistor.

  • Publication number: 20150351378
Abstract: A waste cart may be provided. The waste cart may include a housing having a top wall and a plurality of outer walls enclosing an interior space. The interior space may include a bait stick connected and extending therein. The housing may have an entranceway providing access to the interior space. The entranceway may include a passageway having a rotatably mounted plurality of tines adapted to allow one-way access into the interior space. The top wall may be pivotably connected to the housing. The top wall may be secured by a gravity locking mechanism adapted to release the top wall under the force of gravity when the waste cart is inverted, such as when the waste cart is fixed to the inside of a inversion-dumped trash bin.
