Abstract: Systems and methods for searching online profiles on an application portal is disclosed. One method may include: receiving, at an application portal, a search request from a user; retrieving, by the one or more processors and from one or more accessible databases associated with the application portal, one or more online profiles that are determined to match the category selection and the keyword indication; assigning, utilizing a ranking algorithm, each of the one or more online profiles a rank, wherein the rank is assigned based on one or more ranking criteria; presenting, on a search results screen, a listing of previews of the one or more online profiles to the user in a ranked order based on the assigned rank, wherein each of the previews contains a subset of information contained in the one or more online profiles.

Abstract: A method of creating an enhanced document may include receiving an unstructured document, wherein a content of the unstructured document is formed of only unstructured content, encoding the unstructured document based on a known semantic meaning of the content of the unstructured document to form a structured document, wherein the structured document comprises only structured content, and wherein the structured content comprises a plurality of document sections, adding to the structured document a respective interactive element for each of the plurality of document sections, storing the structured document in association with a unique document identifier that is individual to the structured document, rendering the structured document to create a rendered document comprising structured content, unstructured content, and the interactive elements, and embedding the unique document identifier as non-visible metadata in the rendered document to form an enhanced document.
